2009

I have a deep affinity for running and a personal drive to take part in races such as the Greater Manchester 10k.

Engaging in running not only serves as an effective method to maintain physical fitness and well-being but also presents an opportunity to pay tribute to cherished individuals and contribute to meaningful causes.

Engaging in charitable runs, in particular, offers a sense of fulfilment and gratification, benefiting both the body and the soul.

2010

In the year 2010, I participated in my initial half marathons, encompassing Anglesey, Wilmslow, and Abersoch in the scenic region of North Wales.

With great determination, I steadily progressed and aimed higher, seeking new challenges and accomplishments.

2011

In 2011, I challenged myself to participate in the Chester Marathon as well as several local events in Manchester and the High Peak area.

It was a year of personal growth and pushing my physical limits. The Chester Marathon was a particularly memorable experience. The event took place in the historic city of Chester, known for its stunning architecture and rich history. Running through the city's charming streets, I felt a sense of excitement and anticipation as I embarked on the 26.2-mile journey. The course was carefully planned, taking us through picturesque countryside and along the River Dee, providing beautiful views throughout the race.

In addition to the Chester Marathon, I also participated in various local events in Manchester and the High Peak region. These events allowed me to immerse myself in the local running community and explore the stunning landscapes of the area.

Participating in these events not only allowed me to test my physical limits but also introduced me to like-minded individuals who shared a passion for running. The experience of training, preparing, and ultimately completing these races instilled in me a sense of accomplishment and a belief in my own abilities.

2015

In the year 2015, I made a firm decision to embark on a remarkable journey to Italy, specifically to explore the awe-inspiring Dolomites.

This captivating region encompassed a challenging trail spanning 47 kilometers, accompanied by a staggering ascent of 2,650 meters. Participating in the renowned UTMB event, I was instantly captivated by its allure and allure, leaving an indelible impression on me. Such was the profound impact of this experience that I found myself irresistibly drawn back the following year, eager to relive the magic once again.

As I embarked on this exhilarating adventure, the magnitude of its magnificence truly surpassed my wildest expectations. The Dolomites offered an unparalleled spectacle, a breathtaking blend of nature's grandeur and untamed beauty. The sheer grandeur of the towering peaks, enveloped in a mystical mist, was an awe-inspiring sight that stirred my soul. Each step I took along the trail unveiled a new vista, a panorama of unparalleled splendor that left me in a perpetual state of wonder.

This expedition into the heart of the Dolomites awakened within me an insatiable passion for trail running. The mountains became my sanctuary, a place where I could immerse myself in the serenity of nature while pushing the boundaries of my physical capabilities. The rhythmic patter of my footsteps echoed through the valleys, harmonising with the whisper of the wind and the symphony of birdsong. The sheer exhilaration of conquering nature's challenges imbued me with an unyielding determination to explore new trails and conquer new heights.

As I reflect upon those transformative moments spent amidst the Dolomites, I am reminded of the sheer power and beauty that nature bestows upon us. It is a reminder that we are but mere guests in this vast tapestry of existence, and it is our duty to cherish and protect these awe-inspiring landscapes for generations to come. The Dolomites have left an indelible mark on my heart, forever etching themselves as a testament to the magnificence of our world.

2017

In 2017, I embarked on the remarkable journey of conquering the Eiger Ultra Trail organised by UtMB.

This trail is nestled in the awe-inspiring Grindelwald region, where the legendary Eiger proudly towers at an elevation of 3970m. For countless years, this majestic peak has captivated the hearts and minds of visitors to the valley, earning its reputation as the "last challenge of the Alps." The sheer magnitude of the Eiger's North Face posed an immense obstacle, which was finally overcome in 1938 after an arduous battle spanning four days.

Today, the Eiger's North Face is a testament to the skill and prowess of world-class climbers who brave it solo in under two and a half hours.

I also had the privilege of taking part in the captivating Firelighter Coastal Ultramarathon, an exhilarating 39-mile race spanning the awe-inspiring Anglesey coastline. The untamed beauty of this coastal area was truly incomparable.
